The NEXAMITE® product range for modification of polyethylene is available in two different physical forms – powder and masterbatch. NEXAMITE reacts through an addition reaction activated by heat without any volatile by-products being formed. NEXAMITE improves processability by forming long chain branches which enhances the melt strength at dosage <<1%.
The effect can be advantageously employed in, e.g. pipe extrusion to avoid sagging. NEXAMITE improves mechanical performance, chemical resistance and long term properties. NEXAMITE can also be used in peroxide free crosslinking of polyethylene.
