Proposal by the Nomination Committee regarding the Board of Directors of Nexam Chemical

Nexam Chemical´s Nomination Committee has informed the company of its proposal to the Annual General Meeting, to be held on May 16, 2019, regarding the Board of Directors.
The Nomination Committee proposes re-election of the current directors Lennart Holm, Cecilia Jinert Johansson and Jonna Opitz. Daniel Röme and Per-Ewe Wendel has declined re-election.
Furthermore, the Nomination Committee proposes that Mats Persson and Ronnie Törnqvist are elected as new directors. Lennart Holm are proposed to be re-elected as Chairman of the Board.
Mats Persson has a long experience within the chemical industry with several senior positions within the Perstorp Group, including vice president. In recent years he has held the position as COO at the composite manufacturer Diab with the responsibility, amongst other things, operations and supply chain. Mats Persson, born 1963, has a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Lund University as well as an Executive MBA.
Ronnie Törnqvist, CEO of Klippan Safety AB, has a long international experience in thermoplastic composite materials and, amongst other things, as Market & Technology Director at KB Components AB. Ronnie Törnqvist, born 1971, has a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University and a Ph.D. in Material Science from EPFL in Switzerland.
