News: Nexam proprietary cross-linker NEXIMID 300(PETA) in scientific publication
12/18/2013
A Japanese research team with participants from, among others Mitsubishi Gas and Chemical Company, has published a study on NEXIMID 300 (PETA) based polyimide resins. The new resins display excellent thermal properties as well as dimensional stability. In addition, the resins can be cross-linked at temperatures of about 220 degrees Celsius, which is advantageous compared to other phenylethynyl based resins which are normally cross-linked at temperatures above 350 degrees Celsius.
“We are encouraged to read that our products are disseminated in the scientific community. These types of studies enhance the credibility of Nexam technology and we believe that in the long term this will provide for a larger market share for our cross-linking products…” says Per Palmqvist Morin, CEO.
