09/30/2013

Nexam St Andrews has been accredited with ISO 9001 (regarding quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety), which is proof of the high standards that the production unit has in terms of methodology and continuous improvement. The accreditation strengthens the plant’s competitiveness both in terms of production of Nexam’s products as well as contract manufacturing to external clients.

“We are very proud of the fact that the systems and procedures that have been put in place by the team at our production unit Nexam St Andrews have resulted in these accreditations. This will benefit both us and our customers going forward”, says Nexam’s CEO Per Palmqvist Morin.

Nexam St. Andrews Ltd is Nexam’s pilot and scale-up plant, specialized in production of small-medium sized amounts of specialty chemicals, and is owned to 100 % by Nexam Chemical AB. Nexam St. Andrews currently has 10 people employed.
